Who Qualifies
TikTok classifies eligible brands into three tiers: A1, A2, and B1.
A1: Official Brand
You own the trademark. Your brand does $35M or more in omnichannel ecommerce GMV, or $400M+ including retail. You have 100K+ brand followers. You can provide trademark authorisation.
This is the highest tier. It comes with the full SKM benefit stack including the Official Store Badge.
A2: Authorised Distributor
You are a licensed reseller or distributor of a brand that meets the A1 threshold. Your own shop does $10M or more annually. You have 100K+ brand followers and can provide a first or second letter of authorisation from the brand owner.
B1: High-GMV DTC Brand
You do $10M or more on a single channel. That could be Amazon, your own DTC website, or another platform. The entity registered on TikTok Shop must match the entity behind the revenue.
B1 is the most accessible entry point. Revenue proof from Amazon Seller Central, your DTC backend, or even ZoomInfo is accepted. If you are a DTC brand doing eight figures in annual revenue, you almost certainly qualify.
If your brand is part of a larger portfolio, the parent company's revenue can count, as long as you can document the connection. A signed email from the parent entity on official letterhead is accepted.
What You Get
This is the part that matters.
Dedicated Account Manager. A named TikTok category account manager handles your onboarding and daily operations. Regular sellers do not have this. They have a help centre.
VIP Protection. Exemption from standard governance penalties and violation flags. Your shop cannot be deactivated for the common issues that trip up regular sellers.
Probation Exemption. Standard new shops are capped at 50 orders and 100 products for a minimum of 30 days. SKM brands skip probation entirely from day one.

Campaign Priority and Traffic Support. Priority placement in TikTok's major campaign calendar, including Deals for You Days, BFCM, and seasonal events, plus priority access to brand campaigns including in-app banners, search placements, and creator matchmaking.
Co-funded Promotions. TikTok and the brand jointly fund consumer marketing activities. That means TikTok is contributing to the cost of promoting your products on its own platform.
